About the Book

Christa J. Ryan grew up in Kingston, New York into a household that could easily lend itself to incredibility. Her parents were oppressed by alcoholism, three of her sisters were all born with Cerebral Palsy and what is often the case with the less fortunate, accidents and mishaps followed one another like a runaway train. Anyone who has lived through tragedy, seen first hand family illness, lived by self will alone, will identify with the book.

Good God is written with humor and frankness and in doing so, enables the reader to relax in a humorous venue with a cast colorful and memorable characters that can look in the mirror without pity or remorse.

Good God is a fast paced Novel set in the Hamptons and upstate New York and is filled with colorful, eccentric characters adding up to a novel filled with tragedy, irony, spirituality and hope, existing between the middle class of Kingston NY and the incredibly wealthy of the Hamptons.

About the Author

The Author is a person who has experienced real life in Collision, day in day out of the improbably with mission impossible, and has survived.  Through her survival and experiences she has started a quest aligning herself with other fellow human beings in her search for the truth through witting and sharing her life.  She also believes as Longfellow did that situations that call forth our coping abilities are “Celestial Benedictions” in dark disguise, sent not to try our souls, but to enlarge them.

With that concept that her life experiences have been blessings in disguise she has been able to find true serenity.
