LOVE WITHOUT PRIDE

Book Details
About the Book
There are so many things that can
strip a relationship of the feeling of pride that accompanies “young
love”. The term “young love” does not
imply that only the young can rebuild a relationship and reconstitute the warmth
of the initial brilliant flash of “love”.
In the book, the three short
stories illustrate the origins of pride and two of the most unique
circumstances that trigger the fundamentally necessary element of happiness in
a relationship.
About the Author
The author is in the
seventy-fourth year of a difficult and interesting life and he enjoys sharing
some of the truisms that he has discovered along the way. One of the truisms is that love plus pride in
the relationship equals happiness.
Conversely, love without pride is painful.
Any person in love with another
should be aware that pride in the relationship can be restored if there is a
mutual commitment to make the necessary adjustments.
Hurst has a college degree but
earned a Master of Hearts because he has had more romantic false starts than a
goosey frog.
