About the Book

            As Danny Holliday was completing his book Rottweiler he desired to assist a friend Joanne McMurray in getting poetry published.  Later talking with David G. Hamilton the two worked together to publish David’s 1^st book “The Pen”.  David meet Marie Chewe-Elliott who had published her book “Psalms of a Woman.”

            Holliday had the idea to get people together for a book.  It happened in the Alton Area located on the Mississippi River where it bends before continuing it’s journey South to the Gulf.  Old friends and new friends in and around Alton just North of St Louis Mo. on the Mighty Mississippi.  Come along and enjoy this Poetic Ride provided by Riverbend Friends!
