The evidence is overwhelming that most of the essential nutrients we need to remain healthy have been stripped from our food. Not acknowledging this is the reason degenerative diseases are on the rise and why we are getting fatter. I’ll examine evidence that will change the way you think about the food you’ve been eating. Then I’ll show you exactly what you can do about it.
I have tried to make this book as short as possible because I know that confusion, more often than laziness, keeps people from taking action. Still, I am only able to cover a fraction of the mountain of evidence showing that we have depleted our farmlands, degraded our food, contaminated our water, and polluted our air. And the enormous benefits to be gained through proper nutritional supplementation and simple lifestyle changes.
This book was written for you because you are living right now. Whether you know it or not, you are involved in a game between your money and your health. You’re up against the food industry, pharmaceutical companies, the diet industry, and even the government. For them, the prize is profit, and they know you and your biology well. They know how to play their game. Do you? When you consider that you have no choice but to play and the stakes are high, you might as well play to win. Your very life may depend on it.
It makes no difference if you are an athlete or a couch potato, this information applies to you, so use it to your advantage. I will show you where to start and why. The rest will be up to you. If you are willing to spend thirty seconds a day to turn on your blender, you’ll be well on your way to winning this game. The program is so easy anyone can use it to undo a multitude of ills. You just have to take that first step. It’s one you’ll never regret taking.
Once you begin there’s no hurry, your body responds to what you do most often over time, so use the program to get started today. Remember that fitness is a personal journey, not a destination. You can’t store it. Your health depends on what you did yesterday, not six months ago. Each of us must learn to care for our own bodies, since we alone live in it, and we alone will bear the consequences of eating habits and a lifestyle out of balance with our natural biological requirements.

CHAPTER 1 – YOU ARE NOT ALONE
Today, widespread nutritional deficiencies are so common that just about everyone can consider themselves affected-and that means you! It’s a universal problem that’s been approached with so much misguided advice from our doctors, the government, and the nutritional industry; it’s no wonder nothing is improving.
Let us begin by taking a realistic look at what you’re up against. In 1988, the Surgeon General reported that more than two thirds of all deaths in the United States involve nutrition. Heart disease, cancer, and diabetes alone will kill two out of three Americans. The percentage of overweight adults in the U.S. has doubled since 1991; today, nearly 60% are overweight. The rate of obesity has increased by over 50% in the last forty years. Arthritis, allergies, fatigue, impotence, depression, Alzheimer’s, osteoporosis, kidney disease and many other degenerative disorders are also on a dramatic rise. You may be surprised to learn that these are all different manifestations of the same disease – poor nutrition.
So, what are you going to do about it? Statistically, you will do absolutely nothing. You will follow your overweight American brethren like lemmings over a cliff. You may ask some questions along the way, or even dabble with leaving the pack, but only about five percent will succeed.
What about the diet and exercise craze that’s supposedly sweeping America, all those before and after pictures? It’s just
