About the Author

Dr. Shannon Alexander attended Arizona State University and Western States Chiropractic College and has been a practicing chiropractor since 1988.   As he began to facilitate the healing of his patients’ bodies, he noticed striking similarities in those patients who had chronic conditions.  This lead to years of study that uncovered the underestimated role that nutrition played in the health of his patients.

Over the next fourteen years, Dr. Alexander found that virtually everyone lacked a nutritional plan that was complete enough to be effective.  In an effort to establish an all- inclusive nutritional base he developed Nutrall, a state of the art, nutrient-dense meal replacement that provides over 60 essential nutrients.  The Nutrall program has been refined over the last seven years, and Dr. Alexander wanted to share his wealth of knowledge about nutrition.  He wrote The Eating Game to give clear, concise scientific information on our modern food supply, the truth about weight loss, and a method to simplify good nutrition.

The program has also proven helpful for chronic diseases such as multiple sclerosis, arthritis, Crohn’s disease, and others.  It has also helped to ease the discomfort of chemotherapy.

Dr. Alexander also has done post-graduate training in acupuncture and personal training.  He is an expert freestyle skier, races motocross and has a black belt in martial arts.  He resides in Seattle, Washington.
