THE SPIRIT FORCE

In previous works, we have outlined the need for augmenting our current laws of physics to account for spiritual phenomena. Based on the fact that human beings were always aware of a spiritual dimension through personal experience, Part I of The Triad, “Communion with the Absolute,” provides a blueprint on how to experience such a state. Part II of The Triad, “The Spirit-Body Communication,” focuses on the scientific basis of how such communication seems to take place within our bodies. This book, Part III of The Triad, addresses the existence of the “Spirit Force” and its interaction with the known laws of nature. While based on scientific concepts of modern physics, it is written so that the layman can benefit by simply taking the physics and mathematics for granted. Many pieces of the “mosaic” have been developed by various scientific efforts to-date. We have attempted to paint a holistic picture of how the spiritual and material fields relate to one another, with the help of additional original research. The work is aimed at scientists and laymen who are interested in science and its relationship to the spiritual realm.

The book starts by reminding us why understanding our spiritual realm is of profound importance. It reminds us that it is due to our limitations to understanding, as human beings, that we have divided creation into “spiritual” and the “material” categories. That in fact all created aspects are part of a whole and we need to start to understand how both the spiritual and material aspects are related.

The book outlines an approach to develop a deeper understanding of the spiritual phenomena, building on our subjective personal knowledge and the current understanding of our laws of physics. We analyze these concepts in the context of how such spiritual phenomena could be compatible with the laws of physics as we know them; and vice versa.

In addressing how the Spirit Field is coupled with the current laws of physics, a quantum field theoretical framework of mathematical physics is used. The conclusions are derived from the premise that if there is any influence of the spiritual field, on us and other things in the world as we know it, the spiritual field must be “coupled” to, and interact with, the known fields of physics. A unifying, so called, Lagrangian formalism and the Principle of Least Action is used. This approach has been successful in deriving all of our presently known laws of nature and their interactions. If the spiritual, to date undiscovered, force is to interact with our known physical laws, there are only a few mathematically consistent options. We thus develop a logically consistent approach of the unification of these fields. The theory, in turn, can be eventually verified by experiments. While complex, the book is written so that the layman will be able to understand all of the basic concepts involved without having to absorb the math toward the end of the book.

In trying to make this profound and exciting subject understandable to the reader, the introductory Chapter I, provides the initial background and summary of the concepts involved. Before going into greater depth in our mathematical development, Chapter II provides a broader, speculative, framework of the theory we will develop. Chapter III provides a primer for the mathematical and physics concepts used. In Chapter IV, we summarize some of the attempts by others to address pieces of the puzzle, in trying to unify the various “fields”; while Chapter V gives a summary of the initial research dealing with the derivation and results of the unification of the spiritual and physical fields. Our conclusion as to the consequences of this newly emerging knowledge is set forth in Chapter VI; with a summary of the main aspects of the book, in Chapter VII.
