About the Book

Jami shares her life story in this poignant and moving book about her numerous struggles and how she refused to give up on life!  Find out what kept her going and gave her hope.

After being sold out and then abandoned by her father as a child, she was willing to give him a second chance as an adult.  Would he give her one?

After dropping out of college, she marries a drug dealer who tries to convert her from metaphysics and the occult to his idea of Christianity.

She leaves her husband to be with a man that she knows is the love of her life.  He moves her from southern California after surviving what would become the first rollover car accident, to a strange land where things really get crazy.

From becoming a home birth midwife and giving birth to her daughter under water; to surviving the second and very major roll-over car accident; that is still just the beginning of this stranger than fiction journey chronicled in her book “MY ONLY HOPE”

All scripture quotations are taken from The Holy Bible, New International Version  NIV , International Bible Society, Zondervan Publishing House

About the Author

Jami currently lives with her husband and two children in Panama City beach, Florida.  She was born and raised in southern California where she also attended college.

She has struggled with the church, and how Christianity was presented to her, living most of her life as a person who believed in God and felt that religion only interfered with one’s spirituality.

God, with the love of His son lifted Jami up and began the long process of chipping away the years of pain.  He saw something in her, a loyalty to Him, that from a very young age she would let no man-made religion or rituals change.  A strong character that makes Jami a survivor with an equally strong will that only He can command.

Jami says,  My flesh has been so broken that now I live for Him.  Whatever the Lord wants to use me and my life for is fine with me; I have surrendered it all to Him.

While shopping on my electric wheelchair scooter, I frequently hand out “God Bless You” cards; especially wanting to reach those I see using assistive devices such as canes, walkers and wheelchairs.

There is no more “rush, rush, rush” all the time.  I live with a certain peace about me that was not previously there.

If we are to make an impact in this world with our faith, we must “Come out from them and be separate.”  Let’s stop “playing church” my brothers and sisters.  As Christians, it is critical that we be in the world and not of it so that others may look at us and see The Truth of Jesus Christ.

Thank You,
