Exposing the Spirit of Homosexuality

One of the questions most frequently asked about the spirit of homosexuality is, from where does it originate? The spirit of homosexuality did not just start in these last days.  It has been around since Old Testament times.  The book of Genesis tells us that God destroyed two whole cities -- Sodom and Gomorrah – because the people gave their bodies over to homosexual sins.

The spirit of homosexuality does not always begin with the person who is caught up in its grips.  The spirit can be inherited as a generational curse.  If not dealt with, it can be passed from generation to generation.  A person’s great grandparents may have been involved in homosexuality or some other sin that opens the door for the demon.  The seed of that involvement can show up generations later if no one within the bloodline ever repents for their sins or the sins of their fathers.

 In Exodus 20:2, 3 and 5, God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses.  The first one states “ I am the Lord thy God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.  Thou shalt have no other gods before me... Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and the fourth generation of them that hate me”.... You must understand that here the Lord was forbidding idolatry.  It is that very spirit of idolatry that is at work in the life of a homosexual.

Romans 1:25 says “Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever.  Amen.”  That is, idolatry.  Idolatry is the deifying of self and other created things instead of God.

Man is born spirit, soul and body.  Some people think that a person can be born as a homosexual in a natural sense, believing that God created an individual to be this way.  That is not true.  But a person can be born with their spirit already infected with the spirit of homosexuality due to the iniquity that was done in their bloodline before their birth.

The Bible says in Psalms 51:5 “Behold I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me”.  Iniquity is lawlessness in the realm of the eternal spirit although it affects the realm of the natural because natural things mirror spiritual things.

You might ask how can the spirit be transferred if the person who it began with is deceased?  The demon is called a familiar spirit.  (Important fact -- demons are not without knowledge just without bodies and they travel in groups).  A familiar spirit is a spirit that knows you and your families’ history.  When you allow your mind to understand the devil’s tactics, you will get the understanding of how he weaves his plan of destruction in the life a homosexual.
