About the Book

Look Out!  The Weenie Dogs are at it again.  This time they plot the perfect Ham Heist right under mommy’s nose!  This book is designed for three to ten year old children.  It contains fantastic, bright illustrations and the story is narrated by the ever mischievous weenie dog named Snickers.  This book is playful, entertaining, and most important, written through the eyes of a child (its 8 year old author Lexi Shockley.)

About the Author

Dr. Robbin Ogle is a college professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  She has written many books and articles in the academic world as well as the Weenie Dog Adventure Series. 

Dr. Ogle makes her home in Omaha, Nebraska.

Lexi Shockley is Dr. Ogle’s eight year old niece and is a second grader at Conastoga Magnet School in Omaha.  Lexi lives with her family and the three Weenie dogs in Omaha, Nebraska.

Donna Lindeen Harrington has created art in various medias ever since childhood.  She wrote and illustrated her first book when she was six years old.  The Great Ham Heist is her first published children’s book.  Donna lives in Apple Valley, Minnesota with her family.
