Please Lord; mothers and fathers are crying
“We need your help -- man is losing control”
People are sad and it takes its toll
Please, please, just hear my plea!
Bless this nation, or we’ll never be free
Drugs are everywhere -- “so many things are wrong”
God Bless
God stop hatred, before it starts
Bigotry and poverty is in every major city
Government’s cutting welfare -- oh what a pity
Things are rough; don’t let this nation die!

We All Can Make a Difference -- we really can
We All Can Make a Difference, by helping our fellow man
We All Can Make a Difference, so let’s make that move
“There are so many things we can improve”
We All Can Make a Difference and it’s really not hard
And we all could make a difference, from the start
I don’t have all the answers, but I know this is true
We All Can Make a Difference, when others are blue
We All Can Make a Difference, if we open our hearts
We can make many changes, if we do our part
So let’s make a promise, starting today

About the Book
This is the author’s first volume of poetry; although he attempts to expound on many issues and personal problems that we all encounter daily. Quite a few of his poems could be considered social commentaries. His conclusions are based on God given wisdom, research, observations (day to day), living experiences and common sense. This particular volume will most likely reach those 35 and up, but he hopes to have something that almost everyone can relate to. There’s many inspiring and positive messages included also. He touches on some topics considered taboo and others that only a few will expound on. “The book is realistic, inspiring and certainly enlightening.” He hopes his readers will enjoy it, because it really depends on them!
About the Author
The author is a poet, essayist, songwriter, philosopher and educator. Since 1995 he’s been writing on a variety of major issues and problems that we all face daily. Also in the 90’s he appeared on two local T.V. stations, along with Time Warner Cable for exposer. Two of the most important highlights of his career “were receiving a letter in September of 1998 from the White House on President Clinton’s behalf regarding a letter and poem sent concerning race relations in
