About the Book

Time is a matrix that binds man with God as well as acting as a temporal veil shielding Him from view. Understanding the nature of the veil and the implications of its piercing enables a strengthening of faith.

The establishment of a spiritual relationship with God is facilitated by emphasizing its rationality. The gamut between faith and reason is spanned lightly but with reflection.  Examples are humor as a manipulation of time and salvation as an atemporal event. Theological positions are avoided although theological implications of an atemporal God are addressed.

References range from St. Augustine to Tom Clancy; Stephen Hawking to Mortimer Adler; Martin Heidegger to C.S. Lewis.

About the Author

An eclectic mix of education and experiences has given Hagen the breadth of knowledge and the ability to integrate a multi-disciplined approach to the subjects of time, man, and God.  He holds degrees in Psychology and Law and his career included engineering and aerospace business management.

Two years of quadriplegia and subsequent rehabilitation afforded him the opportunity to more closely examine his own relationship with God and his own spirituality without many of the intrusions and responsibilities associated with physical life. The experience enriched his life and strengthened his faith.

Hagen presently resides in south central Montana where he continues to ponder, study and write.
