About the Author
As a young father the author would read bedtime stories to his children paying particular attention to his favorite “James Whitcomb Riley” classics “Little Orphan Annie”, “The Raggedy Man” and “The Bear Story”.
When the author became a grandfather the bedtime story reading ritual continued on with the grandchildren.
The grandchildren felt that the author was a great storyteller. When they entered school they asked their teachers if their grandfather could read their favorite stories to their classes. That was the beginning of a long tradition of the author reading stories to elementary classes.
