About the Author

Cristina Marie Hernandez was raised in Kern County, California. While she has been a hairdresser for twenty years, writing has always been her passion and it has been her dream to write children’s’ stories.  Cristina Marie is a visionary and an all around dreamer with an imagination that she loves to share in her writing. She finds her creative inspiration in her love for the arts and in observations of her friends and family.

Cristina Marie started writing her first storybook, Plurple, in 1993 and finished the first version in 2000.
