God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth. (John 4:24) God is the Creator of all persons, places, and things, rather visible or invisible. Every person, place, or thing is under His sovereign control, and whatever His will is, that it shall be. There is only one true and living God, but there are many gods. God is the Being perfect in power, wisdom, and goodness whom men, women, and children worship as Creator and Ruler of the universe, whereas, gods (idols) are beings or objects believed to have more than natural attributes and powers requiring those who honor such to worship them.
You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourselves a carved image --- any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. (Exod 20:3-6)
Jesus Christ is the Word of God that was with God in the beginning that became flesh and dwelled among us for thirty-three and one-half (33 ½) before He ascended back to heaven in a body of immortality and is now at the right hand of God. He is called the Lamb of God because He gave His life for our sins. His body was given and broken for us, and His blood was shed for us, and by His stripes we were healed.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. (John 1:1-3) And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14) But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins. So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, God with us. Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name JESUS. (Matt 1:20-25)
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. Curds and honey He shall eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good. (Isaiah 7:14-15) For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isa 9:6) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16-18) For when we were still without strength (grace), in due time Christ died for the ungodly (unsaved). For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. (Rom 5:6-9) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 6:23) For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Ephes 2:8-10) But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just t
