After eating her icecream, Katie went back to playing with her friends on the swing and slides, forgetting all about her favorite toy.
When she finally got home in the late afternoon, Katie took a bath, had dinner and got ready for bed. When she got into bed, she realized that Dollie wasn’t in bed where she usually is. She soon remembered that she had taken Dollie to the park earlier that day, but didn’t remember bringing her back.

About the Author
Sandra Kirwan-Mason was a kindergarten and/or first grade teacher for seven years. She says that reading to her students aloud and seeing what story contents engaged them, helped her get ideas for writing this book. She’s now a reading teacher.
