Apples of Gold, Volume 1

I see your simple beauty

in the early morning dew.

I feel a warm breeze on my face

and Lord, I know that it is you.

I hear your soothing music

in the gently falling rain.

I watch a rose unfolding

and I see you again.

The towers fell, the chaos came,

satan thought that he had won,

but deep within the heart of man

a stirring had begun.

Instead of doubt or blaming God

people fell upon their face.

They prayed and worshiped a loving God

and were touched by His grace.

Amidst the mayhem and madness,

amidst the blood and strife,

they knew this was caused by evil itself

and not by The Giver Of Life.

For God so loved the world

that He gave His only Son,

that whosoever believed in Him

would forever be as one.

Jesus is alive today, in the hearts of all men;

so on that fateful day, only satan was deceived,

for those who before had no hope

now in a merciful God they believe.
