About the Book
Then on Uncle Ralph’s farm he will ride an “Old Bess” the horse, play in the snow, enjoy nature and most of all learn how to make maple syrup. Uncle Ralph teaches him step by step and also explains all the other products that come from the maple tree.
About the Author
Leora Janson Sipp was born on a farm in northeastern
She grew up driving horses, tractors and helping with the animals on the farm.
Leora worked in the public and private schools teaching kindergarten and preschool.
Leora feels that children need to learn about the ‘how to’ of farming activities. This first book was put together so that her grandchildren and other children might see how syrup is made.
