The year was 1993. I bought a Macintosh computer that was easy to use and I immediately signed up for an online service. Before long, I was navigating chat rooms and meeting people. It didn’t take long to figure out that there are a lot of lonely people out there, especially women. I talked with some on occasion, but I spent most of my time in chat rooms with themes Ask Male Anything and Ask Female Anything kept me entertained for a couple of months. And then I got bored.
My wife had been trying to get me to have a threesome with her an another woman for a long time but I had not found a suitable woman to do it with. She would point out lovely ladies every day and ask me to assess their worth as a perspective lover for the both of us. She said that she wanted to see me pleasure another woman because she knew I would do well. I was not comfortable with that scenario for a couple of reasons. One being that I was not comfortable with strangers and the second reason was that if I did not have feelings for a girl, I could not just perform like a trained seal.
We took a house guest for six months. The object was to help her get on her feet financially and to have a lover that we both could enjoy. The girl loved me deeply and would flirt as much as possible. I did not have the courage to take her. Once we even slept with her. She moaned as she lay with us but neither one of us had ever touched another person since being married, so nothing happened. Our houseguest and I would kiss when we saw each other in alleys, behind the garage or in the house when no one was looking.
Soon my wife got interested in chat rooms. One day, she met a woman named “Silk” who seemed to be very nice but lived on the other side of town. The two women eventually began talking on the phone. That’s how I learned that my wife and I were having marital problems. And that she was planning to leave.
Silk was into the world of BDSM, short for Bondage, Dominance and Sado Masochism. This lifestyle interested my wife a lot. I had a mild interest in it, mostly from a dominance and submission standpoint. I was not particularly interested in the whips and the chains.

My johari is the story of a man who met a woman on the internet during roleplay. They met and both knew right away that they wanted a relationship that was out of the ordinary. He saw her as his one true slave. For him a woman that would be submissive to his every desire. For her, he was a man like no other man. One who would demand perfection of her, mentally and sexually. They both assumed that they could have this internet Dominance and Submission relationship and not be tempted to take it any further than the internet. They did not know how powerful their bond would grow to be.
About the Author
Astayo Tlvdatsi is an African-American man who became interested in his grandfather’s Cherokee heritage. His name is taken from Cherokee and other native languages combined. He grew up in a Midwestern steel city during the 1970s. His father was a steelworker, like most fathers in his city. His mother was a homemaker. He left home at the age of 21 to pursue a military career.
Throughout his childhood he always felt as if someone or something was watching over him. He always seemed to be able to avoid most conflicts or injury. His mother, a minister, said that his guardian angel, Gabriel, protected him in his darkest hours. Astayo believed this to be true because he saw Gabriel during a hike one summer. He has always drawn on that vision for moral, spiritual and physical support throughout his life.
Among his writings is the unpublished story called "The Dunes" A true short story of his encounter with his guardian angel whose name is Gabriel and Astayo's quest to reaquaint himself with the angel.
