About the Author

Authenticity and credibility are mandatory when teaching and documenting archaeological sites.  Artifacts, map and reports must be meticulously recorded and summarized for compliance with both state and federal government guidelines.  He has met and surpassed these standards for over 20 years of archaeological work in the Western Great Basin.  As a “Registered Professional Archaeologist” he has been published in several professional journals.  He was profiled in the prestigious “Nevada Magazine” after winning the State of Nevada ‘Parks and Recreation’ Award for Excellence in Archaeology.  He has worked on many large archaeological projects for the Contract Archaeologists in the West.  He does his most important, and rewarding, teaching, literally on the site at historic mining camp ruins.
