Spirit of Slavery

Who or what is this Spirit Of Slavery? This word “Spirit” lends itself to numerous meaning, but they all reveal a state of unseen.  It resides within the soul of man, but my revelation informs me that this same spirit resides in the soul of America; as unseen with the naked eye, yet real.  It cries out for release from that demonic act of assault on a race of people foreign to this land.

I started a silent conversation with myself, not wanting to allow my flesh to exert influence on my writing, because it would always digress to the physical.  That’s why I asked God many times to keep me in the spirit, that I might interpret the message and maintain its spirituality.  A mark has to be made to find common sense of this injustice that plagues my ancestors here in this civilization.  While other culture’s fled to this country to embrace a freer and prosperous way of life, my ancestors unwillingly sold and stole from a land of natural riches and wealth to suffer the crimes of slavery for centuries in this land called the free.  I am keenly aware of the many repetitions throughout this presentation.  The problems in our country are also repetitive, and I am a product of this environment.  We have an excess of five to six hundred network outlets that spew out events with the same content until it’s pasted in our brain.  While the main purpose of this book is to try to motivate rational-minded people to reflect on America’s far-reaching problems, its other purpose is to induce an awareness of the scary times in store for us if we rely solely on the phantasms that are lectured in our print, media and other electronic outlets.

Will the rulers of America speak up and be counted?  And the media responded, “We are! And we have the permission to say so.”  And the train rolled on.

For the time will come they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves, having itching ears; and they will turn their ears from the truth, and shall be turned into fables. 2Tim.; 3,4

For those that aren’t familiar with the above paragraph; it is taken from the New Testament of the Holy bible.  Most people in our society are validating that prophesy today.  We aren’t equipped with the state of art security in our country that can shield us from a satanic attack of domestic or foreign terrorist and we never will until we acknowledge God and the security plan he has available to us as a nation.  But first we must eliminate the evil that has paraded our shores for centuries.

The military and some civilian establishments have at their disposal a security system based on two-people-only designated entry to a location a device for security purposes.  Each individual has his/her own key/combination to lock or unlock the device.  God was the first to implement this system.  Spirit-fill Christian, along with God, is blessed with a similar security system.  When we pray in the spirit, we are operating in two-man control with our Lord.  There is no way Satan can decrypt the code. Christians and especially blacks have always had the system, but weren’t aware, or didn’t understand the workings of it.  The Bible teaches us through the instructions of Apostle Paul how to use it.  Man’s existence on earth is based on rules established by the laws of God.  “Sowing and reaping, planting and harvesting, or giving and receiving.”  All cultures practice this law in the physical, but only a few understand the spiritual side of the law.  I am a firm believer that if it were not for the true faith of God operating in the spirit of the slaves, resistance to the hands of the oppressor would never have given them courage to place themselves in harm’s way to obtain freedom from the grip of slavery. Faith is a spiritual act, and its application has no connection with sensory perception.  Faith is unseen.  I can’t imagine the Africans apprehended from their land and their culture with fear instilled in their minds and their bodies, transported to a foreign land as though they were livestock, the memories of their ancestries wiped from their minds, the first peoples of the earth, and not having any visual perception how freewill for them existed in a strange land.  But their faith in God did, and faith delivered.
