About the Author

Daniel S. Janik is Director of American College and University Studies at Intercultural Communications College (ICC) in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. Author of A Neurobiological Theory and Method of Language Acquisition and Unlock the Genius Within, he currently teaches English and English as a second language at ICC in association with Upper Iowa University; writing at Hawaii Pacific University; and psychology at Argosy University Hawaii. He holds master's, medical and doctoral degrees from University of California at Berkeley, Loma Linda University California, and Bircham International University, Madrid, Spain, respectively.

Joel Weaver is Executive Director of ICC. Having taught English in Africa, Micronesia, California and Hawaii, he is currently an adjunct professor at University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) teaching professional development courses in English as a second language to public school teachers throughout the Pacific region. He serves on numerous professional boards and is past Chair of NAFSA Hawaii-Pacific District where he promotes qulaity education and the welfare of international students before and after studying in the USA. Mr. Weaver has a master's degree from UHM.
