About the Author
Geneva Johnston Hudson grew up in Oklahoma. She is a retired public school teacher, having taught in the Edmond Public Schools for sixteen years. Among her many accomplishments and honors are Oklahoma Council for the Social Studies Teacher of the Year; Oklahoma Bar Association and Oklahoma University Exceptional Service Award, Honorary Life Membership Kansas Parent Teacher Association, and National History Day Distinguished Service Award. She is listed in Great Personalities of the South, and Who’s Who of American Women.
