Only love can take us all the way to a life that’s filled with peace, happiness, security, and prosperity.
One of the primary reasons we are here on earth is to learn to be consistently and truly loving.
Each one of us is capable of a higher order of love– a love that is truer, deeper, and more all-encompassing than the love that we now experience and express.
Love is more than just a beautiful feeling. It is an active process of seeking to truly know others and of helping them to fulfill their deepest needs and highest aspirations. Love involves sharing with others the best of ourselves, showing an interest in others and giving them our undivided attention, acknowledging others’ positive attributes and achievements, giving others support and encouragement, warmly greeting those whom we encounter, making the effort to develop, preserve, and deepen relationships with family and friends, reaching out to initiate relationships with others, and doing our best to alleviate others’ suffering and privation.
As a rule, our feelings for others are very much contingent on their feelings for us. Ideally, however, our love for others should exist independently of how much, or even whether, they love us. We’re only as free as our love for others is independent of their love for us.
True, unconditional love is free from any selfish motive or expectation, even from the expectation that it be returned. Being loved is the frosting on the cake of loving.

The premise of Going All the Way with Love is that our primary purpose here on earth is to develop our potential to love to the fullest extent possible and that becoming more loving is the shortest and easiest path to personal transformation, as well as to the collective salvation of humanity.
