About the Author

In Mike’s teenage years he wanted to be a mechanical draftsman and studied in this field for six years.  When grandchildren arrived, he wanted them to have something that would entertain and have original ideas in the form of a comic book.  Mike illustrated and wrote two comic books lovingly for the grandchildren.  He then had a passion to write a story book that would have adventure, morals, and a lasting memory of their grandfather.  So, the story of “Staring Fox and the Thunderbird” was born.
