About the Author

Pentel Channel was born in Jamaica, West Indies.  She migrated to the United States in 1970 and has spent more than half of her adult life in New York. A graduate of Pace University, her ability to write was fostered during her quest for an Associate Degree in banking and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.

Being an avid reading, Pentel Channel recalls her inability to sleep until she had finished reading the last page and the countless hours she spent rewriting the story in her mind, to give it a different twist or, in her view, a better plot.

Her role as a single mother along with other responsibilities kept her from her passion.  Now that she is retired her dream is to spend her time expressing the many wonderful ways of her first love.
