About the Book

The song “I Will Bless the Lord With All My Soul”, reflects the writings of the author Verna S. Murray. Life has it’s ups, downs, and many curves. How we move through them depends deeply on our ability to recognize who we are and our faith in the creator. His strength helps us determine, “I can do all things”. The reflections in Concepts Golden speak of the joys, pains and great loss. It’s mission is to inspire and encourage no matter what the circumstance.

About the Author

Verna Sistrunk Murray, a native of Salem County, New Jersey is the fourth oldest of eleven children. She began writing during her early years of grade school. Due to the sudden death of her mother, Verna dropped out of high school to care for her younger siblings. Later she received her GED, and then pursued her dream of becoming a nurse. After 27 years in nursing, she retired to fulfill yet another dream, becoming a published writer. Currently she is completing her second book, “A Place To Go”.

She lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband of 50 years. They have four adult children, eleven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. At the age of seventy-one Verna is a firm believer that you never give up on your dreams.
