About the Book
When words start poring out of You almost at a rate too fast to write them all down, I feel as a responsible Man of My past a deep obligation to share it with as many as I can. Some of what You will read is on a personal level whereas most of what I have written will speak to most in one way or another.
I look at those that find it hard to be inspired, And to Me it’s impossible not to be. If I’m driving, walking, or just sitting still, all around Me is splendor and magnificence, but at the same time I’m not blind to the sinistry of vacillating minds, that try to influence through a negative pull.
So in writing poetry or even chapter stories if one wants to see bad enough they will find the balance within their writing to be inspired. There has been evil and good since the beginning of man that hasn’t changed, what has changed is technology and communication.
Most everyone who has written at one time or another has written of Love or Hate. To Me there is so much more to write about. Personally ever since I can remember I have found it is possible to use the right or wrong words in any given situation. I believe if I didn’t have words to express and open up to myself and others I would have gone insane. So because of the wonderfulness of words I am grateful for My past along with My present. You know the saying Hind site is always 20/20, I believe it is ok to make mistakes as long as You are willing to admit it, learn from it, and move on so as not to repeat it. To show the same dependability to those You are responsible for.
About the Author
I was born on March 5th in the middle of the day in 1968. In
I was ready but My mother was not, She was entertaining a friend by the name of Patrick H. Kahn. They were having a few afternoon Vodka’s. By the time I was ready Dear Mom was 6 sheets to the wind under the bottle cap. I thank God Mr. Khan was there and sober enough to get her to the hospital.
I was 10 months along, I think I was definitely ready. Weighing in at 10lbs. 7oz. with a 15 in. head & 22 in. long capped with a full head of blue black ringlets. My full name is Peter Norris Patrick Harold Peveto. Named after My father and Mr. Kahn. I can remember way back at the beginning of My pedagogic endeavors, words have always had a huge impact on Me. I expanded My vocabulary right away. Once during the 1st Quarter in My third year of school I was pulled from class tested and moved up to the 4th grade, per My test scores.
I had an unwavering interest in PUNS, something to this day I still cannot explain. That lead to a Deeper interest in just the power of words.
During My 6th grade year I was again tested and was found to have a college grade reading and comprehension skills level. Then I fell in love with the expressiveness of poetry, and the use of metaphors to describe everyday events with beauty and carress. And as an artist You can paint a much bigger picture with words than acrylics.
