Javed Naseer, the author of this book, was born in Buland Shahar, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, which is situated in the North of India where the Ganges and Jamuna Rivers flow on the two sides. He was raised in Aligarh, U.P., in India. At the age of eleven, he came to America with his mother, one younger sister, and one younger brother, to join his father who was already working at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge as a visiting Assistant Professor.
He was extremely studious from the very beginning of his career and had great talent for solving mathematical equations.
After the third year of his stay abroad he joined his relatives and friends back in India. It was the time when a great war was about to break out between India and its neighbor, which was to decide the fate of East Pakistan and the birth of a new nation on the globe.
He finished school and then attended a prestigious university, Aligarh Muslim University, where he attained his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Math, and English.
He then joined L.S.U. in Baton Rouge in the year 1980 as a prospective Ph.D. student. Although he did not complete his Ph.D., his fascination with Chemistry remained and he continues his research in Chemistry. Recently he published two research articles on the spectral studies of complex molecules.
