Nothing is what i’m left with,
My tears tell a tale.
Of lost love and happiness,
Desperation that never fails.
Courage you may have given me,
A lonesome walk in the park.
But, the mirrors are all broken
And i’m left here in the dark.
So, tell me the story about us.
I have now lost the fight.
It took twenty days to win your heart,
My soul can’t make it right.
So say good-bye to everything,
We must now walk away.
It’s now another day.

Lisa Bellerjeau started writing poetry at a very young age. She majored in communications in college and won many poetry contests. After college she got married and concentrated on being a mom to her two boys. She wrote “Love Poems for the Psychotic and Deranged” in two days. Lisa said: “I got obsessed and didn’t eat or sleep and just kept writing.
