Janis began writing as a very small child. Her love for writing and travel was her greatest consistency. “Having to work kept getting in the way of my living,” she said.
Janis works taking care of ill persons in their home. She seeks out precious moments to write.

Leann “helped” my dad plow (flow) from the time she was 1 ½ or 2 years old. She’d sit on the mule, or horse while he plowed. He paid her 25 cents a day. She took her job very seriously.
