All That Glitters Is Not Gold

About the Book

   Dana and Tim Carney fell in love with St. Simons Island, Georgia, on their honeymoon.  A year later they moved to the island where Tim opened his first law practice.  Everyone who knew Dana and Tim thought they were an ideal couple. Then one day Dana and Robbye, their five-year old son, were forced to start their lives all over again.  

About the Author

Carol Ashmore was a stay-at-home mother for three children.  After all of the children moved away, she began to use her extra time to pursue a career in writing. After publishing six poems, she wrote Christian magazine articles and edited a Sunday School weekly newsletter.

   She and her husband spend many vacations at the beautiful St. Simons Island,  a barrier island by the southeastern Georgia coastline.  Carol learned to love the island with all of its beauty, history and culture.  So, naturally, this  island was the one she chose for the settings of her first three island romance novels, RETURN TO ST. SIMONS,  FIVE YEARS ON ST. SIMONS, and this her latest book,  ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD.

   After spending many years between Charleston, S.C., and Tallahassee,  Florida,  Carol, an avid nature lover, can now often be found at a Pond Place near Wakulla Springs, Florida.
