About the Book
Innumerable times you may have been asked, “Why do you keep getting drunk?” only to answer honestly, “I don’t know.” The secular community has one answer, the Bible another. You may think, “Oh, please, not another God book. I need something I can grab hold of and put into practice every day, not some supernatural crutch I can’t understand.” The author knows addiction from both the secular and biblical perspectives and contrasts the differences from his own experiences. As for Bible-teaching churches which desire an alternative to worldly solutions, finally there is a book that provides a detailed biblical model that can be accomplished by Christian lay counselors who believe the Scriptures are sufficient.
About the Author

What he learned changed his life and led him to get certified as a biblical counselor where today he works at Eastwood Presbyterian Church’s Center for Biblical Counseling in
