Being physically, verbally, or mentally abused can cause this unforgiveness. This book is to help you identify the areas of unforgiveness that you may have hidden or forgotten. Using real life situations, this book will also show you how to be set-free from this spirit of unforgiveness.
How Do I Know if I’m Walking in Unforgiveness?
You are walking in unforgiveness when you can’t find it in your heart to forgive someone who has come against you. Let’s look at it in this way. When you are hurt by someone, it causes you to become injured, which leaves you with an open wound. Just like a physical wound, a person can experience the same kind of injury when their feelings or reputations are put on the line. If an open wound is not treated properly, it can hold infection. Meaning, if you don’t treat your hurt with forgiveness, it will slow down the healing process or never heal at all.
How Do I Cause My Wounds to be Infected?
You can cause your wound to be infected by holding on to old baggage and disappointments. When you tell others about the incident, this keeps the wound open—let it go! Holding on to this situation may cause you to act in such a way that alters your character. You may find that you are no longer walking in integrity when you allow negativity and slandering words to come from your mouth. You should never allow situations to change your personality and make you act in an ungodly fashion. When you choose not to forgive or confront the source of your hurt, you allow the wound to become inflamed with resentment, bitterness, hatred, and much more. It can cause you to enter into different stages of unforgiveness.

About the Author
Darlene Smith is a spirit led writer who allows the Holy Spirit to move in and through her. In 1998 Darlene Smith was led to found her first ministry, entitled Keeping the Faith Writing Ministry. The Ministry was used as a loving tool to reach God’s people through gospel cards, letters of encouragement, poems and other writing mediums. This led her to a closer relationship with God which inspired her to intercede on the behalf of others.
Darlene Smith answered her calling in evangelism in 2002. She has received a special gift from God, which allows her to view the hearts of his people and offer them encouragement and love. In 2003 she began writing gospel stage plays, skits and books under the direction of The Holy Spirit.
Darlene Smith along with her husband established a Drama Ministry that will allow people all across the world to grow closer to Christ, through stage plays and other avenues that God gives them in reaching his people.
Darlene Smith has been married for fifteen years to David Smith they have four children, Darnika, Darius, Devin and Deandrea Smith.
