How I crashed and burned

Who I am today
Sometimes I find myself wondering
How I got here
And where are the actors that
Were once so prevalent on my stage?

I am a harbor
Of wind set sails, clinking boats, bobbled seas

With treasure at the sandy floor of destiny
I am a harbor
Where bells clash, sails rip with exposure to the heavy caked sun
I am a harbor
Anchor dropped to sea, ready for opportunity to spot me

Le Beau Coeur means "The Beautiful Heart." It is a collection of poetry and lyrics. As Miss Bienvenu writes, "This collection is the product of childish nature, pure rubbish, and daydreams. It is the outcome of countless tears, heart breaks, and 22 years worth of growing pains. It is the product of numerous travels around the world."
About the Author

Danielle debuted her writing career at seventeen years old as the author of Against All Odds the Ruby Princess. She has a Bachelor's in Political Science from Lamar University with minors in French and Writing. She is currently a French major and a French teacher. She resides in Texas with her husband and three Golden Retrievers. She enjoys playing guitar to her own beat, dancing in grocery store aisles and singing whenever the urge strikes. She can often travels with a pen in hand.
