Always Near
As he sits poised to disown
He never admits as he falls
From the foundation vain calls
Reverberating creation
I reach down to the hand
Yet never command
Always wearing the price
The false face of the true heart
Forget every pace always more than twice
But you must impart
The smile of God''s clown this is the truth
All called must adhere
For a guardian angel is always near
The Laughing Man
Children are born
The man laughs
The children die
The man laughs
Drugs destroy the fabric of life
The man laughs
Who are you?
Why are you the laughing man?
Are you blind?
Can you not see the pain of we
Who laugh when we can?
But cry at pain
Why do you now cry?
When through your ignorance
Are about to die
Spell of Enlightenment
Lessons of darkness unfold
Mysteries of ancients are told
Reveal yourselves let me in
Seperate am I from the lonely din
Fill me with knowledge and wisdom
So that I may enter your blessed kingdom
Look not to my failings but upon blessings
I have to bestow
My wrongs are past but that you already know
Your truth I ask for
Please show me the door
I will open what you close to most
To your kindness I will drink and toast
Deliver me from my greed
To me bestow what I truly need
Even Bliss Too
Truly you make this place wonderful
So close to the state you are
Your beauty rivals that of the nearest star
The light sifting through your hair
Increases the beauty of the Sun
To observe now your enchanting looks
I am the only one
Your illuminating smile
Brightens the darkest day oh, but to let
You notice my way
Step onto the stage with me
So I can know you true
We ca act out everything from happy to sad
And even bliss too

This is the second volume in a planned trilogy of poetry. The author showcases his love of word play, rhymes, and colorful analogies to illustrate basic truths.
Again he attempts to understand the emotions which shape our thoughts and actions. He hopes that his readers will find this book as entertaining as his previous work, "STUCK IN THE WHITE ZONE".

The author can''''t seem to hold down a job. He was worked in construction, lawn care, cleaning horse stalls, and baling hay, to name a few. Fortunately, for his readers, he has never quit writing and continues to explore many different topics and genres.
