About the Book

“Meditation For Little Souls” is the delightful story of two children who experience the essence of their Creator, themselves, and nature through meditation.

Poetically written, this work is a tribute to children whose innate spirituality, creativity, curiosity and connectedness to All That Is, holds the hope of humanity and the earth, in Divine love and peace.

Inspired by her studies at The Barbara Brennan School of healing, Ms. Bode submitted “Meditation For Little Souls” as her first year art project.

This beautifully written and creatively illustrated book is an invitation to children of all cultures and religions to deepen their connection with their inner spiritual guidance.

About the Author

Linda Bode began her writing career when she was eight years old, with “You’re In the Army Now,” a musical stage play produced for her third grade class. Her interest in play writing continued as an adult with “The Good, The Bad and The Aged,” a fund raiser for the Oregon Occupational Therapy Association. Linda would go on to win an Oregon Original Scripts Competition with “Fig Leaf and have her first full length play, “Rachael’s Daughter” produced at Linfield College in McMinnville Oregon, hi addition to play writing she penned a weekly humor column, “Country Corn” for the McMinnville News Register.

“Meditation for Little Souls” was originally written for submission as an art project for the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, where she is currently enrolled in her second year.

Linda lives in Salem Oregon, working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the Vocational Program at Oregon State Hospital where she feels “it is an honor to be on a team in one of the most therapeutic programs at the hospital.”
