About the Book

Epilepsy:  It is not just about having seizures and when the seizures are over with, and all of a suddenly everything is okay. Comedians are continuously cracking jokes about epileptics and seizures.

I had status epilepsy (the worse kind as they occur more often). It is more than anything, a lack of misunderstanding of the medical illness and all its torments that come along with the package.

I want to be able to help epileptics (in anyway I can) and get a lot of doctors and others to realize how serious epilepsy is.  Please understand I’m not just mocking all doctors or people, I only mean about what I went through.  After 46 years of experiencing seizures, I pretty much know of what I’m writing about.  With short-term memory loss and brain damage from the multitude of seizures I had, I did the best I could (I’ll reveal more personal stuff later on).

My goal is not to see if I can write the great all-American novel or even a large book.   My goal is to get my messages across to the whole world (I want to be proof that other epileptics might need to get other people to understand some of what an epileptic goes through in this life).
