ABOUT THE BOOK
Turkey Tales is an Anthology of stories that share the experiences of a group of friends enjoying their time together. These friends teach each other and learn from their mistakes while hunting the magnificent Wild turkey. The book is full of emotion and excitement as the hunts develop. Each character displays excitement whether he was successful in the taking of a bird or not. There are episodes that all hunters have experienced and enjoyed in their hunting trips. Life in the woods is great, especially when you have your friends and family to share your experiences. This book was not only meant to share the experience of hunting turkeys but to share the relationships that evolved from these hunts.
About the Author
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Edward N. Sullivan was born August 12, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was raised in Sand Springs, Oklahoma on the banks of the Arkansas River. Eddie was taught to hunt by his grandfather in the hard woods of the Deep Fork bottom, south of Bristow, Oklahoma. He was self taught in the art of bow hunting whitetail deer and taught the art of turkey hunting by his friend Dan Boatman.
Eddie is a career language arts teacher and athletic coach. He enjoys reading hunting stories and decided to write this anthology of stories to share with his students. The book was simply put together for documentation of the experiences for Eddie and a few friends but he decided to share it with others as the stories share the experiences that bring joy to the hunter.
