About the Book

EBONY SAMURAI is an inventive memoir inspired by Tamara’s unique life journey of finding faith, surviving loss, embracing human love, and becoming fully reconnected to the Divine which she artistically describes in four unique chapters appropriately entitled Centering Chi, Wayward Battle, Soul Mate, and Enlightenment.

Wittingly, Tamara pens each tale as a series of ancient parables paralleled to shadow the essence of the samurai and his trials as an innovative guide towards experiencing inner peace and happiness.

Tamara hopes that her poetry will inspire readers to look within and aim to reach their destiny, which sometimes entails overcoming obstacles of adversity, embracing life’s challenges, and of course, welcoming unconditional love…a gift that may be disguised as an Earth Angel.

About the Author

Tamara Johnson is a Philadelphia-based independent artist with concentrations in painting, photography, and graphic design. Being blessed with raw talent in artistry Tamara embarked on the entrepreneurial development of her pet project Homebound Prophet, LLC which is rapidly growing into the successful company of her dreams.

Although EBONY SAMURAI is her first published work Tamara has used her ability in creative writing to produce several literary projects that are in the midst of completion. Tamara’s goal is to be a silent motivator to other aspiring individuals in their quest to fulfill their inner dreams due to her firm belief that everyone has the ability to unleash their spiritual gifts and create the life of their desire.
