About the Book

About the Author
Ana Zekic was born in Bosnia. She lived with her very large family in poverty. Ana was constantly surrounded by wars and moved to Croatia. A tiny house in a small village with a big family was the means of life for Ana. Her education ended in Grade 4 and from that point on Ana learnt all by herself.
Her amazing skill and talent to write poetry of such calibre is a completely natural gift that makes it all even more special. In her mid teens she moved to Australia on her own and thats where she eventually met her husband.
She has two wonderful sons Sal and Ramey. Ana visits her family in Croatia every few years and has even shared her amazing poetry in Croatian too - reaching an even wider audience.
