Children

Two persons’ sperm and egg getting together to form an embryo is relatively meaningless compared to the act of parenting the resultant child.

How can one engage in bad habits, selfish, unkind, uncouth behavior if you hope to instill the opposite in your children?

Attitude

Your attitude is the greatest factor contributing to the quality of your life. Incredibly, this most important thing in your life is totally in your control.

Teaching

We hear “Our schools are not doing their job. Look at the kind of child coming out of high school.” But the problem rests in our homes not in our schools. Schools teach knowledge, homes teach human values.

Religion

The purpose of religion should be to lead us to become better human beings. It matters not what god, prophet, or set of beliefs brings us to that state. It matters not why we are a good person, only that we are.
