About the Book

Love…A Poetic, Photographic

Journey Through Time

Is just as it’s name suggests…………a compilation of  poems written from 1970 through 2005 combined with nature photographs taken during many trips across this great country of ours and a few computer creations. The first poem, “How Can I Be Sure”, written in 1970 is the only work that survived my memory because all early works were destroyed in an apartment fire in 1975. The second, “Ode To A Friend”, was written in 1992 as a tribute to the tragic death of a friend of mine.  All the rest were written between 2002 and 2005 and depict moving feelings of love and love lost during the ups and downs of a post divorce relationship.  The nature photos were taken at a variety of places like National Parks, State Parks in Pennsylvania and New York, at the shore on the east coast, and on a cross country trip that my son and I took after his graduation in 2002.  Most of the photos came from the 19 National Parks that we visited and other outstanding sites along our journey which included a breathtaking drive along U.S. rt.1 down the California coast.  Lastly, there are three of my favorite computer creations included, “The Black Hole”, “Mirror Balls”, and “Blue Serenity”,  which I designed during the evening hours of that snowbound winter of ’95-’96.
