About the Book

In the quiet country town of Oxted, a young widow witnesses two separate murders and her life is immediately changed forever.

Intrigue and danger escalate and Nadine doesn’t know who she can trust. She already has a secret that she doesn’t want the police to discover.

Even the detective sent to investigate is not quite who he appears to be.

An ex- lover from her past appears on the scene but can she trust him?

When she discovers that someone close to her is in league with the murderers she becomes terrified. Someone is out to kill her and she has no idea why.

Her friend Gillian is the only person she can really trust.

Together these two women begin a battle of wits against what appears to be an army of villains.

At stake are untold wealth and hidden treasure which lead to more deaths.

Even amidst the menace from the murderer our heroine manages to fall in love.

With danger facing Nadine at almost every turn, the story escalates to an exciting and unexpected climax.

Set in Surrey and Cornwall this novel has all the essential ingredients; with murder and love mixed with intrigue, mystery and danger.
