Recently the news alerted the nation that two Duke Lacrosse Players were arrested on a charge of rape. An “exotic” dancer accused that three Duke Lacrosse players raped her during a private party where she and another dancer were performing. For anyone who does not know the term of “exotic” dancer means a stripper and is probably a whore. In this event, the dancer was described by a security guard in a parking lot later found that she was passed out drunk or in some intoxicated state either drunk from alcohol or in the influence of intoxicating drugs. DNA tests found that there was absolutely no evidence of rape which leads one to conclude that the District Attorney Mike Nifong, had some other motive to file the charges. Mike Nifong had been a lawyer for thirty some years and was the elected District Attorney. As such, he had great power and had perks such as the ability to ignore speed laws and other the like. In addition, the District Attorney was facing an election and refused to allow the potential defendants to allow to surrender to the authorities upon the filing of the charges. The actions of the District Attorney are in unheard of where the potential defendants had secured attorneys and had agreed to surrender promptly upon the charges of filing of any charges. The District Attorney had other motives. In an attempt to influence the voters, particular black voters to return him to his post as District Attorney. Such conduct is outrageous and is a symptom of a power crazed District Attorney. This attorney had just dumped upon all of his peers to get an advantage in an election. This is the type of person and many other lawyers that have amassed too much power in their profession, are those who have lost their way and blinded by their egos. These are the lawyers that need to be, as Shakespeare said: “kill all the lawyers.”
