About the Author
Dr. Michael Quay lives in Hilo, Hawaii, with his wife, Nell, and their dog, Kaleb. He is a nationally certified professional counselor as well as being an ordained minister through International Ministerial Fellowship. Dr. Quay has a M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling (Georgia State University) and has completed doctoral work in Counselor Education (Auburn University). In addition, he has a Doctorate of Ministry from Southwest Bible College and Seminary. He has a combined 15 years experience in mental health and pastoral settings. Dr. Quay is a Disaster Volunteer with the Hawaii State Chapter of the American Red Cross. His interests include spending time with his family, reading, traveling, walking, weight training, and of course, writing.
