About the Book

The setting is 1964 through 1965, a time when men of color had to prove themselves over and over again.  Bruce, Kian and Bobby are from the Midwest with dreams of being successful at any cost.  In an era of drugs, sex and competition they come to realize that fame has a very high price.

About the Author

Gene W. Kidd, is a graduate of Rutgers University and "SPOTLIGHT" is his first novel. His works of poetry have been featured in antholgys that have been read around the world.  Gene's works of poetry have earned him the "EDITOR"S CHOICE" award twice from the International Library of Poetry.
