and baubles of antiquity,
as though into history itself.

Long time ago, when I was a wondering and
bewildered child,
I wondered, who is God and where is He?
He was hidden under the obscurity and mystery
of the song and talk of the old folks.
"Don't you wonder about Him," they sang.
"He works in mysterious ways," they said.
But I wondered just the same.
How did Joann find out who God was? She did. What was in Jim's sack at the beach? How about old Al, what happened to him? Why were violets better than roses? The book will answer these questions....and many more.

About the Book
A book of poetry covering a kaleidoscope of life from the subject of nature, to family life, to commentary on war and the conditions of the society in which we live. About the Author
The authors of the poems are members of the Poetry Society of Michigan. They are talented, Michigan poets who come from every ethnic background, educational level, age levels from twenty to ninety-five, and all professional levels...and, yes... from all levels of writing ability. Their common bond is the love of creating poetry. They write from personal life experiences. Their poems reflect joy, pain, regret, healing, humor and soapbox commentary on the society in which we find ourselves today. As editor, it was my honor to work with the the Writers of Muskegon, MI and our Michigan poets, to bring this book of over 220 poems, to fruition.
