A collection of poems gathered through the roller-coaster years of finding love. The euphoric all-consuming joy of being blissfully in love; the dark resentful malignant pain of a broken heart; and the things that happen while the world was still turning despite the above. They are not only taken from personal experience but are the empathies of all those that travel on the bumpy journey of love and life.

No matter what junction you're at there's something that will ring true for everyone. And no doubt there will be plenty more to come.............

About the Author

C K Powell grew up in the North-east of England, and for 18 years the beautiful backdrop of the Weardales provided the inspiration for the sheer magic and wonder of life and the world around us. She left her home town to follow a career in the Armed Forces which saw a stark contrast, witnessing the very harsh realities of an existence that becomes the way of life for many. The exposure to the very raw emotions of fear and evil, whilst being eclipsed by the strength and nature of the human race, emphasises how precious the most simple things can be: love and life itself.
