About the Author

DeVon Andre Rice was born Willie Rice Jr. in Denver , Colorado in January 1968. This first time author was inspired to write this story based on a few of the trails and tribulations of his early life as a child adolescent , and young adult years. Raised by a strict obsessive mother on the eastern seaboard, D.A. Rice faced life as an only child in an adult world. For inspiration and self therapy to heal old scares , D.A. Rice looked over several aspects of his family and their involvement to heal himself along with answering questions relative to him.. D.A. Rice is a high school graduate and a Gulf War Veteran. He spent a lot of time traveling from state to state , with much time spent overseas in the military.

Most people spend endless amounts of money talking to psychologists , while D.A. Rice spent several years cleaning out and facing skeletons in his own closet in which he is still doing til this very day. Being very careful not to place blame on anyone but, to give reason to every situation that he was involved in . D.A. Rice feels that most people have the reason why they are the way they are but refuse to ask them self ; why? Or some people feel the pain is too great to bare the facts unless someone else is more qualified to point out your inadequateness . Never the less, D.A. Rice faced his own skeletons and wrote them down. Everyone has a story to tell , however in that story can a lesson be learned or can questions be answered? Thus , D. A. Rice has accomplished the first steps in self healing by facing the demons of his past and discontinuing suppressing them with in. To ask yourself , “what truly bothers you?,” is the first step in the self healing method if there is such a method.
