Question: What or where is my home?
Dear Parents,
Today I writing this LETTER,
In the form of a poem to make it sound BETTER!
But I feel I’m unable to talk about, how we were always on the MOVE.
Since before I learned to walk, not understanding why we always had to MOVE?
For every one friend I gained, three will I LOOSE!
I’ve live in uncountable places, and I’ve encountered a variety of deceiving FACES.
I’ve lived among many different races, I never stepped foot or lived in a mobile HOME.
But yet my home was always mobile, and many times I was left ALONE!
The only way I could be reached, was by CELL PHONE.
I have listened to many people tell stories of their LIFE.
But few people realize the stories of my LIVES!
I’m judged by many, loved by so FEW.
Out of all of them, only I knew my VIEW!
They rather judge me, rather than to KNEW.
Forgive me if you are beginning to feel my PAIN!
I’m sorry that you may consider me to be INSANE.
Not maybe or MAYBE, I was corrupted by society before I was born a BABY!
That is what I’m made to believe, but yet you all call me CRAZY!
I choose to research the areas in life that you hope to remain SHADY.
I’ve been diagnose with INSANITY.
I’m locked up because I murdered seven HAPPY FAMILIES!
I’ve been sentenced to LIFE AFTER DEATH.
I don’t understand, how could they take a life, if they never gave me a LIFE!
Formats Book Details Question: Why You Look At Me.. It’s amazing, the stares, responses I RECEIVE! Or overhear, when talking about ME! Sometimes I ask, other times I never ask, what they SEE! It’s gets under my skin. When I’m judged differently, Because of my COLOR! Look at me, other than what you SEE. How are you different from ME? Let me guess, you’re WHITE! You think you’re always RIGHT! I’m black all day LONG! Then everything I think daily is WRONG? What makes you think? The way you think, or act how you ACT? Let me guess, I’m BLACK! To stand for nothing, is falling for ANYTHING! To believe anything, is to falling for EVERYTHING! Defending everything is standing for NOTHING! If you never work for NOTHING! You’ll never know, how it feels to earn SOMETHING! I’m not going to live life, the way you want me TOO! I am not the same color as YOU! Look at me as I look at you. I never treat you DIFFERENTLY! Why are you so persistent? Treating me UNEQUALLY! Take an extra second, To look inside of ME!
