Prayer Of A Rich Man
Oh but for the wisdom to know the feather
Of the eagle, for he is the keeper of the land,
And yet to feel the earth beneath my feet
And know that I am but a speck, but aware
That I must worship this giant mass of
Water, sand and stone, less it consumes me.
Let my fate lie within the realm of reality,
Oh save me from this plastic jungle.
Let the winds of my soul reap the goodness
Of my heart, let me see farther than just beyond.
Bestow these things upon my starving shell
Oh God of nature, for then I , --- shall
